Sue Guiney is a writer of novels and poetry, with a special emphasis on Cambodia. She is now working on a series of novels set there, with the first two titles being A Clash of Innocents and Out of the Ruins.
Sue first came to Anjali House in 2010 to run a special Creative Writing Workshop for the Young Adult Program at Anjali House. That program has now expanded to include other Anjali students, as well as those supported by other NGO’s around the country and is known as Writing Through Cambodia. Her work here also led her to hold the position of Writer-in-Residence in the SE Asia Department of The University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) from 2011-2013.
Sue brings to Anjali over 20 years of experience both working in and teaching the arts, as well as arts management and fundraising. She has also founded a UK theatre charity called CurvingRoad, for which she still holds the position of Trustee. Her website and blog can be found at www.sueguiney.com
