About us: Our sponsors |
 |
Anjali House would not be able to provide care and education to the 80 children it supports without the help of our sponsors. We would like to thank the following organisations for their support:
|
The French Embassy
The French Embassy Development Fund (Fond Social de D?veloppement) is supporting Anjali kids in a two-year program for 2007-2008. The FSD contributes substantially to the running costs, house rental, website creation and a large part of the food support for the families of Anjali kids. | Adidas
Adidas and its employees have been helping Anjali children since 2006. They began their support by building a multi-purpose sports court on which basketball, football, and volleyball are practiced everyday by the children. They also financed the building of the toilets and bathing facilities. Adidas is also financing our physical education program which gives all the Anjali children at least 2 hours of structured physical education per week plus education on the benefits of exercise and a healthy lifestyle. | Globalteer
Globalteer, a British NGO with an office in Siem Reap, Cambodia, has been involved with Anjali House since December 2007. Globalteer contributes to our centre by placing short and long term volunteers at the Anjali project. These volunteers assist in the English classes and run workshops daily. The volunteers pay a sum of money to Globalteer for their volunteer placement and a high percentage of this donation is given directly to Anjali House. This financial contribution helps support the daily running costs of our centre. | Canon
Canon has been supporting the Anjali House photography program since its inception and has provided digital cameras every year for use by the children. This program is crucial for the long term sustainability of the centre and gives Anjali kids an important medium for self expression and creativity. | Creating smiles
Creating smiles E.V. is a German, Hamburg based non-profit community, that helps people in need. We have direct and personal partnerships with projects in Cambodia, India and Ethiopia where we support orphanages, nurseries and educational institutions for children and young adults. | Private donors
Last, but not least, much of Anjali's funding is received from private donors, who have helped with our supplementary food program, (the price of rice having jumped 40% during the last 6 month) or providing clothes or children's books and games for Anjali. Without these donations, Anjali House would not be able to provide such a unique and varied program for the street children of Siem Reap. |
